The biggest music festival in an alpine region in the southern hemisphere is back in 2018. Snow Tunes have announced the date and now the lineup for what looks to be an action packed couple of days. Snow Tunes 2018 will be held on Friday 31st August and Saturday 1st September at the Open Air Stage in Jindabyne, New South Wales.

Austin City Limits is billed to come down under the name Sydney City Limits, and will hit Sydney February 2018. The music festival is coming together under Secret Sounds from Splendour and Falls and US ticketing giant Live Nation. There are a heap of acts already announced plus more to come. There will be 30 acts spread out over four stages including internationals Justice from France and iconic alt rock Beck, The Libertines, Thundercat, and Pheonix. The annual Big Pineapple Festival is back for another year with a stack of Aussie music. It will be on Saturday 26 May at the usual Big Pineapple site at Woombye on the Sunshine Coast Queensland. River Sessions Festival 2018 Mackay QLD June 30
River Sessions Festival in Mackay is back for another year with a handful of big names to rock out on the one day festival. The festival has had a three year hiatus but returns to the Queens Park in Mackay on Saturday June 30th. Acts include The Presets, Thundamentals, Dz Deathrays, and Glades. There will be plenty of food vans to choose from with 15 local boutique outlets. There are under 18s tickets available but patrons must be at least 15 years of age to purchase a ticket or enter the festival.

Splendour In The Grass is back for another year with another great lineup. The festival will be held from Friday July 20th to Sunday July 22nd and will once again be held at the North Byron Parklands, Byron Bay.
